Telos provides free phone numbers of multiple countries with local area codes. Pick your favorite one, spend a little time earning free credits and enjoy unlimited calls and texts. Phone numbers from Telos provide features like Voicemail, Call Forwarding, Call Block and Anonymous Calls. Here are some tips for calling with Telos.
Get a Telos phone number
Tap “More” – “Get Worldwide Phone Numbers” – Tap a Country
1. United States & Canada: Enter an Area Code or City Name – Choose a phone number – Choose a Calling Plan
2. Other countries: Choose a phone number – Choose a Calling Plan
Caller ID
If you have more than one phone number, when you call someone, after dialing the number, you need to pick the number you want to be displayed. If you don’t want to display any number, choose “Anonymous Call”.
Ringtones
Tap “More” – “Settings” – “Notification Settings”. You can set up different ringtones for One to One Message Notifications, Group Message Notifications and Phone Call Notifications. If you’ve allowed “Alert Sound” but still can’t hear alerts, please check your phone settings and enable push notifications for Telos.
Voicemail
What to do about missed phone calls? Set up voicemail. Tap “More” – “Settings” – “Call Settings” – “Set up Voicemail”. If you have several Telos numbers, choose a number first. “Use Voicemail” and “Auto Reply SMS” are both available. You can use default greeting or record your own personalized greeting.
Call Forwarding
Calls to Telos numbers can be forwarded to other numbers if you like. Tap “More” – “Settings” – “Call Settings” – “Set up Call Forwarding” – Enter the number you want your calls forwarded to.
Call Block
Tired of annoying unwanted calls? Set up Call Block. Tap “More” – “Settings” – “Call Settings” – “Set up Call Block”. You can choose to block calls and messages from unknown numbers or some specific numbers. You can also block all calls and messages if you need to.
